Colorado Springs police issued a "be on the lookout" alert for a man released on bond Thursday.
The man, LaRon Donald, was arrested Tuesday on kidnapping and assault charges against his fiance. Donald was released Thursday morning when he posted a $50,000 bond.
Authorities say he's known to have guns and has ties to gangs. They say he could be on his way to St. George, Utah, but wouldn't elaborate on why he might be going there. The original alert was issued out of St. George, and stated that Donald had made threats against the mother of his child, according to El Paso County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Jeff Kramer.
The alleged kidnapping happened at a home near Peterson and Constitution where he lives with his fiance and child. Neighbors tell 11 News they're concerned for the safety of the woman and child.
If you have any information on where Donald could be, call police or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
