After investigating reports of a possible kidnapping, Springs police now believe no crime was committed.

Officers were called to the area of Caramillo and Hancock just before noon Wednesday on reports that a teen may have been abducted. A witness told police it appeared the girl got into a vehicle unwillingly.

But after reviewing surveillance video, officers now believe the teen got into the vehicle in question willingly. That and the fact that no one has been reported missing has led police to believe that there was no kidnapping.

They have cleared the scene.
