Officers have recovered a stolen car, but are still looking for the three men involved in the theft.

The carjacking happened late Thursday night at the McDonald's on 324 E. Fillmore, near the intersection with North Nevada in Colorado Springs. According to police, the victim was sitting in his car in the parking lot just after 11:30 p.m. when the suspects walked up to him. One of the men pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to give him cash and his vehicle. The victim complied and was unharmed. The armed suspect left the scene in the victim's vehicle. The other suspects took off in two different cars.

The victim's vehicle was found at a nearby 7-Eleven just before 4 a.m. Friday. Police are currently processing the car for evidence.

The armed suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male in his mid-20s to early 30s. He is reportedly 6 feet tall with a muscular build and has black hair. Police have not released descriptions for the other two suspects outside of them both being male. Officers say they do not have much information about them. Police believe they were acting as lookouts for the armed suspects.
