Continuing to track rain/snow showers throughout southeast Colorado this morning as wet, gloomy and cool conditions continue. If you are hitting the roads in the higher elevation (Teller/Fremont/Custer/ Monument) make sure you allow a little extra time as some roads may be a little snow covered. Wet pavement remains everywhere else. We'll see rain/snow showers continue for most of our Monday, clearing out before midnight. Head on over to the "Weather" tab for a full look at the week ahead.
A man accused of trying to run down a pedestrian with his car was in court Monday and now faces charges of attempted murder.
Police said Earl Price drove over curbs and sidewalks on the 300 block of East Platte Avenue in Colorado Springs as he tried to hit someone with his car on April 20.
The victim was trying to get away on foot and suffered no life-threatening injuries.
Police said it started when Price accused the victim of insulting him on the radio in February of last year, and then threatened to kill the victim.
