A masked suspect was last seen running away from the Academy Bank on Briargate Boulevard after holding it up in July.

Wednesday, Springs police announced that they arrested the man believed to be behind the mask.

The suspect eluded police for more than two weeks after the July 18 robbery. Tuesday, police had enough evidence to obtain and then execute search warrants at two homes. The search warrants executions gleaned more evidence, but the suspect was still not located.

Police say further investigation led them to a home on Nora Point Wednesday, which is located on the northwest side of Colorado Springs. There, they found and arrested 39-year-old Brandon Kisling.

Police say Kisling was taken into custody without incident. He now faces charges in connection to the bank robbery.
