Springs police are looking for a suspect after a robbery Monday morning at a Subway on 8666 North Union, near Research Parkway.

According to police, the suspect entered the Subway at 7 a.m., first demanded money from the register and then demanded that the employee open the safe. The employee told the suspect that the safe had been stolen in a previous robbery.

Police say no weapon was ever seen.

After getting cash, the suspect then went out the back door and left the scene in an unknown vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, 6 feet tall and thin, wearing a ski mask, black hoodie and black pants.
