Police have located the owner of several U.S. Military "Challenge Coins" that were found in Colorado Springs.
CSPD says the coins were taken during a home burglary in the Widefield area in April 2013 and that the owner was glad to get them back.
The coins were found near Verde Drive and Royale Place about two weeks ago. They reportedly belonged to someone who was assigned to a military police unit.
Police say they have reviewed case reports and did not believe the coins are connected to a criminal case.
Police had also contacted Fort Carson Military Police in an effort to find the owner.
