Four young girls say a man started running towards them as they walked through a park, yelling and threatening to hurt them.

The little girls, who are under the age of 10, were able to get to a nearby apartment complex and call 911.

The girls were walking through Roy Benavidez Park on Afternoon Circle just before 4 p.m. when they say the man started coming at them. The park is located near the Valley Hi Golf Course off of Chelton in Colorado Springs.

The man is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age, 6 feet tall thin. He was wearing a puffy black jacket, baggy black pants and white sneakers. The man’s hair was braided into numerous braids, which reached to his shoulders.

If you have information that would help investigators, call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
