Police and K9 units searched for two or three suspects who broke into a business in Colorado Springs this morning, but didn't find the crooks.

Police said at 2:37 a.m. Monday they were called to the business on Buchanan Street near Fillmore and Nevada. Police originally identified the business as ErinCare, but later said it is the Tree House.

The crooks were gone when they arrived, but there were reportedly a couple sets of footprints leading away from the crime scene to a vehicle.

It is unknown at this time if the crooks got away with anything.

Police are still investigating the incident.
