Death Of Man Found In NE Springs Home Likely Suicide

Police say it appears a man found dead in a northeast Springs neighborhood died at his own hand.

Springs police received a call about a man with a gunshot wound inside a home on the 6300 block Tenderfoot Drive shortly before noon Tuesday. Tenderfoot Drive is near Dublin and Marksheffel.

A homicide detective with the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the scene to determine whether or not foul play is involved. Police later told 11 News the wound appeared to be self-inflicted.
