Police believe two kidnapping attempts in a Denver suburb may be connected.

Both attempts happened Monday in Arvada.

Sister station KCNC reports that in the first case, a high school student said a man tried to abduct her from the Arvada West High School campus on Monday morning.

Several hours later, around 6 p.m., two 12-year-old boys reported being approached by a suspicious-looking man at Terrace Park, which is almost three miles away from the high school.

The suspect has been described as an Hispanic or white male around 30 years old. He was reportedly driving a light brown or tan four-door sedan, which may have a dent near the rear passenger tail light.
