Police are investigating a report of shots fired at a local convenience store.
It happened around 2:13 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at Platte Ave. and Wahsatch in Colorado Springs.
A KKTV 11 News photographer was inside the store when the shots rang out. He says he heard the occupants of two vehicles arguing as he pulled into the parking lot just minutes before the shots were fired.
The vehicles involved are described as a red coupe and a dark gray SUV. Police say they aren't sure exactly what happened.
The occupants of the SUV reportedly returned to the 7-Eleven about an hour and a half later and said the vehicle had been shot at and hit twice in the passenger side door.
No one was hurt.
The incident is under investigation.
