Two suspects are on the run after police say one of them sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint, while the other burglarized her home.

It happened early Tuesday morning near Highway 115 and Academy on the south side of Colorado Springs.

Police say the two men forced their way into the home. Neighbors tell us they're worried something like that happened in their neighborhood.

"People around here are very friendly, very nice, so to hear about something like this happening...it's shocking," one resident said.

The victim described one of the suspects as a 5-foot-5, 150-pound black male, dressed head-to-toe in black, including a black beanie. No description is available for the second suspect.

If you have any information about this crime, call Springs police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
