Why The Video Looks Shaky (Don Ward)
Updated: 7:06 PM - We did a quick helicopter tour of the Black Forest burn area. Someone asked why the video looks shaky.
Colorado Springs police are investigating alleged threats they learned about through a third party.
The alleged threat referred to the Newtown, Connecticut shooting, but did not name a specific school in Colorado Springs.
Police say once they got the information, they alerted school security officers about the alleged threat.
Police say a flier about the threat that was sent out to people was not authorized. They don't know who sent it out. 11 News viewers say they saw the flier. It has a picture of a man and talks about the alleged threat.
Police tell 11 News any threat is taken seriously, but they do not have enough information to substantiate the claim. They are still investigating.
