Police: Drunk Driving May Have Caused Serious Crash

Police believe the driver in a Ford Explorer was drunk when he allegedly turned in front of a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was ejected after colliding into the right corner of the Explorer. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The accident happened just after midnight at the intersection of Cimarron and Tejon in Colorado Springs. Police believe that the motorcyclist was already in the intersection when the driver of the Explorer turned into it.

Melcor Gonzales, 41, was arrested. He was uninjured in the crash.
