Police say they suspect the driver in a rollover crash Sunday morning was under the influence of drugs, including marijuana and meth.

The crash happened around 7:00 a.m. at Highway 85 and Mesa Ridge Parkway.

Fountain police say the driver was going too fast as he got onto southbound Hwy 85 from Mesa Ridge. He apparently went into the median and over corrected. The vehicle rolled across the southbound lanes of Hwy 85, off the side of the road and into a fence.

Police say the suspect told them someone else was driving. They searched the surrounding area, but did not find anyone else. Police allegedly did find meth in the vehicle.

The suspect was taken into custody and will undergo a blood test.
