A teenage cyclist faces a fine after he was clipped by a vehicle while riding through a neighborhood on the northeast side of the Springs.

According to police, the 15-year-old blew through the intersection of Montebello and Pearl, and was difficult to see due to wearing dark clothing and not having reflectors on his bike. The car involved hit one of the bike's tires.

The cyclist sustained minor injuries. He will be ticketed $130 for not yielding to traffic. The driver involved faces no citation.
