Twenty-five marijuana plants worth $12,000 were stolen out of a Denver grow house.
Police say the two crooks were caught on camera, first trying to pry open a window to get in, then later in the act of grabbing plants and shoving them out the window. One of the suspects, whose face was clearly visible on camera, appeared to be chatting on a cell phone through the entire burglary.
The grow house is located inside a nondescript white house in a neighborhood just south of I-70 and York Street. Someone clearly knew it was actually the site of the Chronic Therapy grow house, a legitimate grow operation according to sister station KCNC.
The burglary happened on April 23, but authorities have still not been able to track the crooks down. Police released the surveillance images Tuesday in hopes that someone may recognize the two men pictured.
If you have any information that could help police find the suspects, call Denver police at 720-913-2000 or contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP.
