Police in Colorado Springs continue to follow up on an organized crime ring operating in and around the city involving retail theft. We first told you about the story last month.

According to police, on March 22 several arrest warrants related to Just Computers, located at 2506 East Platte Avenue, were executed and five people were arrested for violations of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act (COCCA).

Police say they recovered a large amount of stolen property, an audit of which revealed the stolen items were valued at $119,363.

Colorado Springs Police say they continue to make arrests related to this investigation. On the day the warrants were executed, eight more arrests were made when people came by Just Computers - allegedly to sell stolen items. Those people were charged with counterfeiting, theft, failure to appear and more.

An additional suspect, Timothy Rupp, has been charged under the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act for Theft (felony) and Money Laundering.

The Colorado Springs Police Department will be seeking arrest warrants related to COCCA charges, Money Laundering and Theft by Receiving on five additional suspects. Their names have not yet been released.
