A child is back with his mother after police say his caretaker refused to give him back.
Springs police have arrested Jennifer Catron for second-degree kidnapping and false imprisonment.
According to police, Catron was watching the toddler over the weekend, but refused to answer the door when the mother came to pick him up. Catron allegedly ignored multiple phone calls as well.
Police were then called to the home on the 4500 block of London Lane, where they say all attempts at contact with Catron went ignored. Police saw lights on inside the home and heard a TV being turned off, giving them reason to believe Catron was inside.
Police got a search warrant and executed it at 2:30 a.m. Monday. Catron was found inside and arrested, while the 2-year-old was reunited with his mother.
The relationship between Catron and the child's mother is unknown at this time.
