A neighborhood road is back open after police blocked off the area as they investigated reports of a burglary.

It happened at Michigan and Chelton in Colorado Springs Friday afternoon.

Police say when they arrived at the scene, an officer heard a noise inside the home. A K-9 unit was brought in and officers called out for anyone inside the home to come out, but no suspect was located.

Police do say they found a window open wide enough for a person to fit through.

The family who lives in the home was advised by police to go through the house to see if anything is missing.
