Colorado Springs police are asking for the public's help in locating a 14-year-old girl, who has been missing for most of August.

Lexus "Lexi" Banovich Richardson was last seen on August 8. She is suspected of running away. She is from Colorado Springs and is believed to still be in the area, but police are concerned she may have gotten mixed up with a bad crowd since she disappeared.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has gotten involved with the search for Lexus.

Lexus is described as a white female, 5-foot-3, 105 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. If you have information on her whereabouts, call CSPD at 444-7000 or 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).
