A pizza delivery driver was accosted and assaulted as he left an apartment building after dropping off pizza.

The delivery driver was walking to his car when two men confronted him. Police say one of the men punched him, knocking the victim the ground. The second man dug through the victim's pockets and stole cash.

The suspects are both described as black men in their mid-to-late 20s, roughly 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10. The suspect that punched the victim was reportedly armed, and is described as clean-shaven, medium build, wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.

The second suspect is described as thin, sporting long dreadlocks and two to three days growth of beard on his face. He was reportedly wearing a black t-shirt with dark pants.

The incident took place just before 4 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex on 750 Chapman Dr., near Fountain and Academy in Colorado Springs. If you have any information that could help police, call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
