A warning from the Colorado Judicial Department about a possible scam. The office has received reports of fake debt-collection agencies threatening people with arrest warrants.
People have received the calls in at least three judicial districts in Colorado. The Judicial Department says the caller is targeting people with court cases.
If you get a call from a threatening debt-collector, you should not give them any financial information or personal information. You can always verify a call by contacting the court clerk's office or police.
