Peterson AFB Conducting Fire Training Today

By  |

Peterson Air Force Base fire department will be conducting fire training exercises today from 3-5 p.m. , Apr. 26, at the base fire training center near Airport Road and Powers Boulevard.

If you are traveling near Powers or live near the airport, officials say that you should not be alarmed if you see smoke or fire from this area.

This training is held to make sure that base emergency responders are prepared to handle a wide variety of emergencies on the installation and at the airport.

The base fire training center also has safety measures in place to keep the fire from going out of control.
