A Colorado Springs woman is shaken up, after a man is caught looking in her window.
It happened on the west side of Colorado Springs, near Woodmen and I-25. The suspect took off before anyone got a good look at him.
The homeowner, who does not want to be identified, spoke with 11 News about the incident. She and her husband had just sat down to dinner and were completely unaware that someone was watching them from outside.
"You just don't know what people are capable of, or what their intentions are," said the homeowner. "It's creepy. You don't know if this is something that has happened often, or how many times I've been alone and it’s been going on."
Her neighbor had just gotten home from the gym when he noticed the suspicious man.
"He was leaned up against the window peeping. Their blinds were shut. I noticed that when I went over there, and you could tell he was peeping through the cracks in the blind," said Daniel Telley.
Telley tried to get the man's attention, but he took off. He alerted his neighbors right away about what he saw, and plans to stay on the lookout for anything suspicious.
"That's why I like this neighborhood, because I noticed that we do look out for one another," said Telley.
A letter from the property management company was sent out Wednesday to people living in the neighborhood letting them know what happened.
The couple did call police, but without a good description there isn't much to go on.
