Snow and rain will continue to taper from north. Main roads should stay just wet overnight and through early Thursday. Secondary roads and any bridges and overpasses away from city warmth will be icy, so be careful. Locally dense fog will be an issue for the early morning too. A Springs woman was hit by a car Wednesday afternoon while trying to cross the street.
According to police, the victim was crossing the intersection of Wahsatch and Boulder when a pick-up truck crashed into her. The victim had the right-of-way, meaning the driver will likely be cited for the crash.
The accident shut down the intersection for a short time. It has since been reopened.
The victim was taken to the hospital after the collision, where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
