Bundle up and take it slow as you head out on the roads. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...

The district says police have been notified, and have investigated. At this time, the rumor appears unfounded based on that investigation.
Below is the full statement from Principal Lara Disney.
Dear Palmer Families,
Palmer staff and District 11 officials learned of an unfounded rumor that threatened the safety of our students. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff are of our utmost concern, therefore this rumor is being taken very seriously and District 11 security, along with the Colorado Springs Police Department, are investigating this situation. Be assured we are doing everything possible to ensure the safety at our school.
We will continue to do everything we can to provide a safe place for our students to learn and grow. I encourage and appreciate your continued support in these efforts.
