A driver is in the hospital with serious injuries after being ejected from his truck during a rollover crash.
State Patrol says William Houston, 47 of Penrose, was driving was driving on Las Animas county road 43.7 three miles southwest of Aguilar when he went off the right side of the road, over corrected and spun out of control.
Houston, who was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the pickup truck as it went off the left side of the road, hit a barbed wire fence and rolled.
No one else was in the vehicle.
Houston was flown to a hospital in Pueblo.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The incident happened at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22.
