Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital late Friday night on Platte Avenue.
Police were called after gunshots were heard in the area of Platte and Union around 11:15 p.m. Officers found multiple shell casing on the 2300 block of Platte.
While police were investigating the scene, a man checked himself into Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound. The man is listed in stable condition.
Police determined that two groups of people got into an argument when one group opened fire on the other.
Police do not have any suspect information at this time. If you know anything about this shooting, call police at 719-444-7000 or 719-634-STOP.
