An Arizona man was killed in a crash on I-25 about 15 miles north of Trinidad Friday afternoon.

The State Patrol says he was a passenger in an SUV that went out of control when a tire suddenly lost pressure.

The SUV and the trailer went out of control and both rolled.

The victim is identified as 48-year-old Erik Pontsler of Prescott Valley, Arizona.

The driver of the SUV was not injured. Four other people in the SUV were taken taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Troopers are still investigating the crash but say alcohol, drugs and speed were not contributing factors.
