Two people were taken into custody for questioning after allegedly attempting to elude police Wednesday night.

It all started when police tried to pull a driver over around 7 p.m. They suspected the car was stolen.

The driver sped off, but minutes later officers saw the same car. Police say the driver and a passenger ran out of the car and into a house on Hancock, near Rio Grande.

Police took the two into custody, then requested a search warrant to search the home. Neighbors tell 11 News they've noticed suspicious activity at the house, with cars coming and going very often.

At this time, we have not received an update regarding what, if anything, was found inside.
