@VoteConservative: Since I'm a conservative, allow me to congratulate you on the 'swing-and-miss' liberal tag. There are numerous SUBSTANTIVE issues you can attack the president on. However, mindless comments such as yours are held up as those of the 'typical conservative'. No valid argument...just childish rhetoric (i.e. the "apologize" comment).

This will be tough for the White Aryans. Just another reminder that Obama is smarter and better looking than they are.

@Jazzcat - why is it that liberals always attack people and not their statements? Is it because you can't argue with my statement, mor are you so threatened that all you can do is lash out? You remind me of a little kid who just sticks his tongue out and says "Nyah!!" Apparently everyone is entitled to their opinion so long as you agree with it.

While everyone is immersed in their self-righteous political banter, allow me to express on behalf of all: Congratulations To This Year's Graduates!

Won't be surprised to find drones flying over that day.

with a bit of luck it's gonna be the last time he'll be here disrupting traffic and unemployment lines....

Besides, solar panels are ugly. Just like your liberal wife's hairy legs and arm pits.

Good point. Maybe I should invest in Solyndra. Wait, they went bankrupt after Obama gave them 500 million dollars. If solar is so cost efficient, why did they go bankrupt? Is it because maybe they are not cost efficient? Why don't they require new home builders to install them? Should the government require them to be fuel efficient! I notice you stated that you COULD install them on your home. Meaning you also have not embraced solar. Get a life. Practice what you preach.

In Hawaii they do require new home builders to install them to run hot water heaters. You can't get a building permit without a solar hot water heater in the plan. Yes, I could install them, but I don't happen to have $16,000 sitting around right now. I'm not sure if you noticed, but the Air Force Academy just installed 30 acres of solar panels in order to start producing their own secure energy.

Just remember, he said by the year 2025 he will save us $8,000 on gas by purchasing a $35,000 car. Gotta love Obama math.

You obviously haven't sat down and actually done that math have you? Alternative energy is the smart thing to do. For example; solar power today is almost half as expensive as it was 10 years ago and it continues to get cheaper while becoming more effective. Today I could put enough solar panels on my house to become completely self sufficient (for a family of 6) for less than $18,000. The panels (based on today's electricity costs) would pay for themselves in about 12 years. The same thing is happening with automobiles. Pay attention and teach your children to embrace progress instead of conservatively locking your grip on the past.

You didn't see the numbers in my earlier post on wind turbines did you? I guess you also haven't heard about GM suspending production and laying off 13,000 employees who build the Volt, a $40,000 all electric car that just won't sell and is estimated to have cost taxpayers about $250,000 each from government subsidies. I haven't seen any life expecancy numbers yet on solar panels, will they last long enough for you to break even on your investment?

That's not Obama's fail, it's the fail of the people to do their part. 2025 is still a long way away in car years, have faith...

Another speech, oh goody! Science fib from the master of non-sensical utopian spin. This guy is so far out he might even reside in a parallel universe. Maybe he'll come right out this time and tell us how we all need to be punished for using up so much of the world's cheap gas. Goody, Hopey-Changey, Joy, Joy!
