Springs police uncovered numerous items believed to be stolen after executing a search warrant for a home on the northeast side of town.
Police were led to the home Wednesday following a six-month investigation into a burglary on Queens Canyon Court, which happened in November.
One person, Steven Hovind, was arrested for possession of a weapon by a previous offender, but has not been definitively linked to the burglary last fall. Police are now sifting through the items trying to identify who they belong to. The items are believed to be from several burglaries and vehicle break-ins.
If detectives are unable to identify who the items belong to, they may hold a public viewing of the property to help identify the owners. If this viewing occurs, we will let you know further details about when and where once police make that information available.
