There's now a warrant out for a man's arrest because he failed to show up for court today.
Michael Chiarani was supposed to face a judge at 9 this morning, Monday, June 10. Instead, he didn't show up.
You may remember that Colorado Springs Police were called to a mobile home at Monument Mobile Home Park last month to investigate a domestic disturbance that turned in to a possible fire situation.
Once they arrived, Colorado Springs police say found the man involved in the dispute locked inside his mobile home. He refused to leave and the woman involved stayed outside to speak with police.
That's when they saw smoke at the mobile home at 85 Sunflower Road. At that time, the Colorado Springs Fire Department was called out as well.
When they arrived, they found the mobile home was not on fire.
The man involved in the dispute apparently set a small fire then took off on foot. Police chased him and were able to arrest him.
Chiarani is facing charges of arson, menacing, assault and false imprisonment following his arrest on Sunday.
