A news conference will be held Tuesday afternoon in regards to a teen missing for a month and a half.
Kara Nichols, 19, was last seen in Colorado Springs on October 9. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office, who will be leading Tuesday's news conference, has called her disappearance "suspicious."
Friends of Nichols have told 11 News that they are worried about her.
"I was very scared for her because to wake up and wonder where your friend is, and what they're going through," Rachel Buster told 11 News earlier this month. Along with Nichols' family, Buster has been among those leading the search, having passed out flyers in hopes of locating her friend.
Nichols' family will be attending Tuesday's news conference. In a statement from the Sheriff's Office regarding the news conference, the Sheriff's Office says "It is the hope of the Nichols family and that of the Sheriff's Office that highlighting this case will produce valuable information or investigative leads."
