A southern Colorado community is welcoming the newest leader for local Catholics.
Thursday the new bishop of the Diocese of Pueblo was ordained. He's Bishop Stephen Berg.
The Catholic community in Pueblo has been without a leader since June.
Bishop Berg was formerly the Diocesan Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth. He's the fifth bishop of the Pueblo diocese.
According to the Associated Press, Berg's path to the priesthood is a unique one: he taught music at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth and worked in the retail nursery industry before entering the seminary in his 40s.
