Police say a group of juveniles may be to blame for vandalizing nearly two dozen vehicles.

Springs police said someone called police after seeing a group of juveniles breaking into vehicles on the 4200 block of Sanders View.

In all, police said two vehicles were broken into at the Bellaire Ranch Apartments and 15 to 20 more vehicles were broken into at the Antero Apartments. Both locations are near S. Murray blvd. and E. Fountain Blvd. on the southeast side of Colorado Springs.

Police said while they were investigating the incident, they saw three of the suspects. Two took off running. One of the suspects who ran away was caught. He was ticketed for First Degree Criminal Trespass and released to his parents. A female juvenile was also ticketed for the same thing and released to her parents.

Police said they expect to make more arrests.
