A naked man jumped out of an apartment window this weekend, causing a ruckus with security guards and police.
According to reports from the Colorado Springs Police Department, the incident happened Saturday night, June 8, around 10 p.m. at Arbor Point Apartments off of Hancock Expressway. Officers were dispatched there to investigate a disturbance after someone reported a naked man jumping out of a window.
When officers arrived, they say they saw the man arguing with security guards and jumping through a window on the other side of the apartment. The man was ordered to leave. Once outside, he continued to refuse to cooperate with officers.
Police say they tased the man twice before deploying a K-9 officer after the man. Once in handcuffs, officers say the man still resisted - fighting with officers all the way to the police cruiser.
The man had to be transported to an area hospital for treatment for multiple injuries - resulting from jumping from the apartment windows and contact with the K-9 officer.
Police say they believe the man was under the influence of narcotics.
Brandon Evans, 21, was arrested and charged with second degree assault on a police officer, first degree criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He is still in the hospital but will be booked into jail once released.
