Three people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash.

It happened near Union and Jackson Ave. in Colorado Springs.

Police say a driver in a Chevy SUV made a turn off Jackson Ave. into oncoming traffic on Union Ave. where he t-boned a Toyota pickup truck.

The driver in the SUV was partially ejected from his vehicle and taken to the hospital with a concussion. The driver in the Toyota pickup was also taken to the hospital and is listed as stable.

Police say one other person was also taken to the hospital, but it is unclear what vehicle they were in.

One of the victims had to be cut out of the vehicle.

Police don't believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident and say they'll likely charge the driver of the Chevy SUV with careless driving.
