Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Some national leaders are proposing that members of Congress be required to fly Coach instead of First Class.
It's a move they say could save taxpayers a lot of money.
"A little here, a little there and all of a sudden you have a billion dollars and a billion here and a billion there and you have tens of billions of dollars and that's what we need to show the American public is that we too need to walk the principles of being accountable on how we spend taxpayer money," Rep. Paul Gosar told CBS affiliate KPHO by phone.
Gosar also says if the military has to fly coach, Congress should too.
The idea is being reviewed by a house committee and so far has bi-partisan support.
