A motorcyclist is in critical condition after police say he ran a red light and collided with an oncoming car.
According to police, the driver was not wearing a helmet.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Sunday on Woodmen Road just east of Union. Woodmen was closed at the intersection with Union for three hours.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
It was the second serious motorcycle crash of the night. The first happened a few hours earlier at Colorado and Pikes Peak. The driver in that crash is currently in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
