A mother and son were remembered Friday in a memorial service in Pueblo.
Natasha Fiore, 25, and her 3-year-old son Elijah Pino were killed on Christmas Day when a fire tore through their home in the early morning hours. They were unable to escape, and died of smoke inhalation.
Her devastated family said Natasha spent her final moments cradling her son.
"She had the couch pulled over her and she had her son in her arms," Natasha's sister told 11 News.
Natasha's mother and other son, age 5, were seriously injured but are recovering.
