Dozens of people were forced out of their homes late Wednesday night after a fire broke out in a Colorado Springs apartment complex.
The fire started around 10:30 p.m. in one of the buildings at the Residence at Austin Bluffs apartments, which are located near Austin Bluffs and Academy. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly, but not before it damaged almost 30 units. Twenty-nine people have been temporarily displaced.
Five people and one firefighter sustained minor injuries. There was one arrest Thursday morning related to the fire: police say a 41-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor charges of obstruction for crossing into the complex while the Fire Department conducted their investigation.
At this time, what caused the fire is unknown.
