A 19-year-old is now in custody for allegedly sexually assaulting a young teen he met over an Internet chat site.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office says Zachary Hamilton-Smith, who lives in Monument, had multiple conversations online with a 14-year-old before showing up at the boy's home in Arapahoe County on Monday. The victim was allegedly sexually assaulted short time later.

The Sheriff's Office says the victim had given his address to Hamilton-Smith prior to the sexual assault.

The following day, investigators with Arapahoe County's Internet Crimes Against Children unit responded to the crime scene and identified the suspect as Hamilton-Smith. He was tracked down to his home in Monument, where Monument police officers assisted Arapahoe deputies with the arrest.

Hamilton-Smith is now in custody at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office detention facility, where he is being held without bond. He is facing felony charges of sexual assault on a child.
