A mobile home was damaged by fire in the Stratmoor area, on the south end of Colorado Springs.

The fire was on Wooddale Road, near I-25 and Las Vegas.

Firefighters with the Stratmoor Hills Fire Department say there were no people in the mobile home when the fire started, but there were several pets. Firefighters say they were able to rescue the pets.

A woman who lives in the neighborhood tells 11 News she saw the flames through the window and called 911.

Investigators are working to learn what caused the fire. They believe it may have started in the front bedroom, which has the most significant damage.

We'll have new information when it becomes available.
