El Paso County Search and Rescue officials say that 28-year-old Matt Ziegler was found around 7:00 a.m. Saturday by a Pikes Peak Highway road crew.
Crews are waiting to determine the man's physical condition, but believe that he will not require hospitalization.
Ziegler was dropped off by his wife at the Barr Trail on Friday morning, but when he failed to return she contacted rescue crews.
A search was started Friday night, but had to be put on hold due to high-winds.
The search began again early Saturday morning, but Ziegler made contact with the road crew before rescuers located him.
