After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. The main impact will be the cold along with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
A young woman, missing for three months, was pregnant at the time of her disappearance, her family said Monday.
The family said Monday that Kelsie Schelling, 21, was 8 weeks pregnant when she vanished. Kelsie was last seen Feb. 4 in Pueblo, where her boyfriend Donthe Lucas lives. The family confirms Lucas is the father of her child, and that he had asked Kelsie to meet him the day she disappeared.
According to her mother, Laura Saxton, cell phone records indicate that on Feb. 4, Kelsie had sent photos of her ultrasound to Lucas, his mother and several of her family members. Saxton also says Kelsie met up with Lucas at some point the day she went missing, but that no one has seen or heard from her since.
Saxton says Lucas accessed Kelsie's bank account once since she vanished.
Kelsie is described as a white female with a tan. She has dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5-foot-4 and weighs 120 pounds.
Kelsie also has tattoos that might help identify her. She has a Chinese symbol on the back of her neck, cursive writing on the inside of her left arm, and a fleur-de-lis on her right rib cage.
Her car is also missing. It’s a black 2011 Chevy Cruze LTZ with Colorado License Plate #023-WRL.
The young woman’s family started a Facebook page in hopes of finding Kelsie:
If you know anything about this missing woman, you are asked to call police right away.
