A military veteran who lost her service dog is asking for your help in finding it.

Saturday morning volunteers scoured The University Village Shopping Center where Tyler the service dog disappeared. He got away from a local Petco trainer last week. Click here to read more.

The dog's owner, Karen Sagahon, suffers from PTSD and says life has been incredibly difficult without her service dog and friend.

"It's another day of putting one step in front of another until we can find him and bring him home. I won't quit until I can bring him home and make our family whole again," Sagahon said.

If you want to help out, head to the University Village Shopping Center and keep your eyes peeled. If you spot the dog, get in touch with the Pikes Peak Humane Society. That number is 473-1741.
