A Springs woman says she was in her car alone, when a van full of men followed her home, threatened her with a gun and then took her car.
The woman says she had just pulled into her apartment complex on East Fountain near South Circle last night when a van pulled up behind her. She says before she could react, two men got out and surrounded her car.
She said one man pointed a gun at her and demanded her keys. She handed them over, but the crooks were spooked by something and ran off before taking her car. She said he was calling police, and saw the suspects return and take her car.
Police don’t have much of a suspect description at this point, but this is what we do know. The first man is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall and in his mid 20’s. He had the gun and was wearing glasses and a puffy jacket with fur around the hood. The second suspect is described as a black man also about six feet tall. He was wearing a black leather jacket with a hood and black pants. Anyone with information is asked to call police 444-7000.
